Eaton Corporation Manager - Manufacturing Engineering in Pondicherry, India

What you’ll do:

To design, develop, test and coordinate the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment & SPM’s for process automations. Support PLC programing & micrologic based machines for troubleshooting & upgradation. To bring latest technology / recent developments in process automations

"1. Support NPD projects – new development / product transfer / localization projects in setting up manufacturing line facilities for targeted metrices

  1. Prepares the project plan/concept drawing and budget requirements for each of the project.

  2. Plan machines, tools, material handling systems for any new layouts.

  3. Execute lean layout in accordance with Eaton ELSS tools and Eaton Safety standards.

  4. Drive process automations in line with Industry 4.0 to support operations cost out projects

  5. Support Maintenance team in PLC and micro logic based machines for troubleshooting and upgradation

  6. Support production in providing additional facilities at the time of spike demand. "

Qualifications:

BE/BTech (Electrical & Electronics)

15+ years and above in Manufacturing Engineering, New line installation

Skills:

SPM design expertise, PLC & SCADA Programming, Electrical wiring & Electronic Test Equipment, Design Software (Solidworks/ACAD)

Presenting Skills, Good interpersonal skills, planning and analytical ability and man management skills, Good communicator of both written and verbal information

C/B License (Electrical) preferred.
