Atlantic Health System Patient Experience Liaison in Pompton Plains, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-Time Patient Experience Liaison for the Greeters & Screeners Department at Chilton Medical Center. Required hours are 3:00PM - 11:00PM including every other weekend (as required by department).

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Addresses and greets patients and visitors upon arrival and offers direction and assistance as required.

  • Utilizes the skills and provide experience to the family members of the patient for patient care experience.

  • Works with the team members, staff and physicians.

  • Analyzes and resolves complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.

  • Works with individuals or departments to minimize service delays and communicates delays to patients and families.

  • Identifies and implements systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service/mission quality.

  • Provides data on patient care issues, maintains reports, analyses trends, and forwards information to appropriate departments for action.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's degree Healthcare or relevant area preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Customer service focused.

  • To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.

Relevant Experience:

  • Retail/Hospitality experience preferred.

  • Bilingual preferred.

  • 2-years' experience in Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality or relevant area preferred.
