We're looking for a motivated Tool Crib Attendant in Pompano Beach, FL, ready to join a dynamic team with opportunities for long-term growth. In this role, you'll manage and maintain tooling inventory, ensure quick responses to tooling needs, and support production by providing both standard and specialized tools. work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide both standard and specialized tooling based on job schedules and tool life cycles.

• Respond promptly to unexpected tooling needs and manage tool inventory using TMS software.

• Issue tools and equipment to employees and maintain detailed records of issued/returned items.

• Conduct regular and perpetual inventories of tools and equipment.

• Pre-set cutting tools using tool setting equipment and inspect tools for wear or defects.

• Sharpen and modify cutting tools using cutter grinding equipment.

• Submit purchasing requests in SAP based on vendor quotes, receive and store incoming tools, and replenish inventory as needed.

• Mark and identify tools and equipment, and handle minor tool repairs and servicing.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on CNC and manual operations.

• Ability to read blueprints and perform calculations in geometry and trigonometry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communications.

• Computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional overhead lifting up to 25 pounds.
