Envista Holdings Corporation Distribution Associate I, Nobel in Pomona, California

Job Description:

Moves cases, crates, packaged merchandise, and other material about a warehouse, between loading and storage areas by means of hand trucks, hand lifts, forklift, and other methods. Store merchandise in designated areas in the warehouse; packs, pull, and wraps merchandise when required.

  • Pick orders using the Voice WMS or scanning wand

  • Build carts using Voice WMS or scanning wand

  • Perform Kanban Audits

  • Present department’s KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity) and understand Envista Business Systems

  • Pull production work order materials from shelves, boxes and bins

  • Stock warehouse shelves

  • Prepare and pack all shipment orders

  • Complete paperwork and computer transactions for all movement of material

  • Verify quantities on hand

  • Follow all standard operating procedures and job instructions in the shipping GMP Manual

  • Prepare distribution paperwork by recording quantity shipped and the lot number shipped on the work order

  • Pull orders from inventory, palletize and shrink-wrap or stage cases for shipment

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Emails, safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), master procedures (MP’s), maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Must be able to read and apply procedures in the materials data safety sheet

  • Ensure proper handling of all hazardous/raw material

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required by direct Manager

  • Education/Work Experience:

  • HS Diploma/GED and 1 year of related work experience (shipping/receiving, distribution, logistics, etc.) or

  • 2 years of related work experience or

  • 4 years of work experience

  • Strong communication in English (Reading, writing, and verbal)

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Organizational skills

  • Proficient time management/ sense of urgency

Abilities :

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment

  • Ability to follow instructions and guidelines set forth by the area Lead/ supervisor

  • Ability to use a pallet jack or dolly

  • Basic knowledge of weight scales, measurements and mathematical skills

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Ability to learn and utilize computer for standard applications including work processing, spreadsheet and database applications

  • Preferred: Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft office Suite

  • Ability to stand and or sit for long periods of time as required by work schedule

  • Working hours and shifts will vary and are dependent upon the work cycles of the Distribution center as required by business needs.

  • As needed, overtime will be required which includes; peak operations such as Physical Inventory, etc.

  • Due to the nature of product contents, careful handling and compliance to procedure is required

  • Ability to stand and or sit for long periods of time as required by work schedule.

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$16.90 - $22.80 per hour
