Robert Half Payroll Specialist (Healthcare) in Point Loma, California

Description

An established healthcare company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a solid background in payroll processing to join a thriving company. A Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processing, taxes, and maintaining employees’ payment records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting daily, weekly or monthly time sheets.

  • Calculating bonuses and allowances.

  • Preparing employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software.

  • Resolving issues and answering payroll-related questions.

    Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.

  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.

  • Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS.
