Job Title: Surgical TechnicianJob Description

Join our team as a full-time Operating Room Surgical Technician in Pocatello, ID. This is a day shift position where you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and relocation assistance. Thrive in a supportive environment that prioritizes your well-being and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the nursing care of patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards of the department and hospital practice and policies.

• Prepare, disburse, and manage surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation pre, intra, and post-operatively.

• Demonstrate knowledge of principles of asepsis.

• Demonstrate knowledge of the standards of AORN guidelines.

• Assume responsibility for clinical competence and professional development.

• Participate in the responsible management of all departmental resources.

• Take on call duties as required by the department.

Essential Skills

• Aseptic technique

• Sterilization

• Surgical instrumentation

• Medical patient care

• BLS Certification

• Surgical technology

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or Certified Surgical Technologist

• Current BLS Certification

Work Environment

Multiple shifts are available, including day and night options. Four 10-hour shifts are from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM or 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, plus rotating on-call duties. Another option is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, plus rotating on-call duties. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00
