FAIVELEY TRANSPORT CZECH a.s., is the part of the Wabtec Corporation, which after merging with the French company Faiveley Transport in 2016 and the American company GE Transportation in 2019 became the largest manufacturer of components for the railway and transit industry. We are proud to deliver products for major transportation projects worldwide as pantographs, electro -mechanical switches, couplers, brakes, trolleybus collectors.

Who will you be working with?

Communicates with suppliers, project teams members and sourcing colleagues both on-site and off-site.

How will you make a difference?

• Manage selected commodities and suppliers.

• Closely and operatively collaborates with Sourcing regional team on the commodities strategies deployment.

• Contributes to site strategies and projects of costs reduction, cash optimization and excellence operations performance.

• Negotiates terms and conditions and contracts with suppliers.

• Develops the suppliers performance in terms of quality, on time delivery and costs.

• Supports Supply Chain and Quality team within escalation process.

What do we want to know about you?

• min secondary school (economics/technical)

• fluent in English (written and spoken)

• experience in communication with suppliers

• PC skills (MS Office)

• communication skills and negotiation skills
