Job Title: Technician

Job Description

Technicians will be working in the mitigation department. The candidate would be an assistant and report directly to the lead. Responsibilities include tearouts of damage and performing general labor. You will report in the morning, then get in a company vehicle (you will not be driving) and head out to the job site. This role offers 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and lead emergency losses.

  • Perform emergency water extraction and drying services.

  • Lead mold remediation, including demolition and cleaning.

  • Inspect properties for damage and complete specific drying processes of water, fire, and contents damaged properties.

  • Set up and take down drying equipment, and complete the drying and monitoring process including monitoring temperatures, relative humidity, and specific humidity with moisture detection equipment.

  • Extract water from flooded areas.

  • Work through and remove demolition or damaged items such as flooring, drywall, cabinets, and furniture removal.

  • Perform on-call rotation.

  • Ability to take direction.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ years of construction experience.

  • 6+ years of customer service experience or similar role.

  • Open to on-call rotation.

  • Initiative and go-getter mentality.

  • Experience in construction, remediation, customer service, general labor, inspection, and document control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Technology experience.

  • Clean driving record.

Work Environment

Usually, the candidate will work with one other person (lead), but if it's a bigger job, they could be in a team. Need to be a self-starter and go-getter. The work schedule is Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30/4:00 pm as required. On-call rotation includes one night a week (same night every week) and one weekend (Friday-Sunday night) every 4th weekend. Added incentives are provided to make it worth everyone's time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
