Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager for our Plymouth, Minnesota location.

Citizenship Required: United States Citizenship

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • As the Site Quality Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality throughout the design, development, manufacturing, engineering, support and operations processes.

  • You will lead the strategic direction and for site initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality.

  • Manage, develop, and provide technical guidance and support to quality team.

  • Take ownership and ensure site compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100.

  • Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and implement corrective actions where necessary.

  • Conduct cost improvement analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Lead improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead supplier quality initiatives

  • Lead internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management system standards.

  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

The annual base salary for this position is $114,000 – $172,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ direct experience in leadership role

  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

WE VALUE:

  • We value candidates who may have one or more of the following skills:

  • Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Engineering Only: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics

  • Extensive reliability engineering experience

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external customers.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • MBA or post graduate degree preferred.

  • Able to focus priorities to best impact quality metrics.

  • Significant experience in leading technical teams

  • Site leadership experience

  • Experience implementing Quality Management systems i.e. ISO 9001/13485, AS9100.

  • Six Sigma Greenbelt desired

  • Certified Reliability Engineer desired
