This position is responsible for designing and creating electrical construction documents. Utilize BIM principles and techniques to leverage model information, improve spatial coordination and increase modeling efficiency. Perform power, power distribution and lighting design of a project with minimal assistance from a senior level person. Coordinate with other trades such as mechanical (this may be in-house or other firms). Attend design related meetings with clients to present and define their needs, providing project status, and respond to requests or concerns - both verbally and in writing. Perform electrical power and lighting photometric calculations such as short circuit, voltage drop and load calculations as required. Review drawings and research codes to verify compliance with city, state, and county regulations. Review submittals to ensure compliance with project scope. Manage multiple projects at one time.
