The salary range for this role is:\$28.10 - \$33.00 Responsibilities: The Boiler Room Operator is responsible to safely operate high-pressure boilers and related equipment to generate steam for manufacturing processes while complying with government regulations and Del Monte Foods, Inc. standards. Other responsibilities include the maintenance and troubleshooting of boilers and related equipment. Recognize and report equipment malfunctions. Assist with annual instrument calibrations. Under direct supervision of the Utility Supervisor. Safely operate the boilers and related equipment Assist with maintenance of equipment and calibrations during the non-processing season Welding and torch cutting experience Ensures compliance with all approved and applicable safety rules in the employee\'s area of responsibility Supports and facilitates the implementation of the facility\'s Continuous Improvement (C.I.) initiatives Responsible for cleanliness of working area and production zones Ability to work together with employees within your department and within other departments Assist on projects or work in different departments as needed or requested by your supervisor Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime to provide a safe work environment Other duties as assigned.
