Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of the production section, the safe and timely production of high quality finished products at the lowest possible cost, and the continuous improvement of the process. Key responsibilities include performing all work related activities adhering to and applying health and safety regulations, GMP, all company procedures, policies and standards.

You will support the development and execution of production strategy for our plant in Płońsk and your tasks will include:

Production management and strategic management:

  • Translating strategic goals into concrete operational goals for the area

  • Ensuring production plans are met. Ensuring that section objectives - KPIs - are met

  • Monitoring of the production process according to the applicable indicators

  • Building a vision for the development of the area

  • Providing proposals for savings and productivity projects for the Section

Quality management:

  • Ensure all quality standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.) in the area

  • Continuous monitoring of the quality of the products manufactured

  • Overseeing the operation of food safety and quality procedures / instructions

  • Preparing sections for corporate and internal audits

  • Monitoring the performance of hygiene and quality audits

Management of work safety:

  • Ensuring the working society in the area. Continuous monitoring of health, safety and environmental standards

  • Constantly monitoring the compliance of the team with safety procedures

Cost management:

  • Ensuring that the sunken production volumes are achieved at the lowest possible cost. Section budget management

  • Monitoring of raw materials, materials and fixed assets in the Section

  • Analysis of efficiency indicators and costs incurred - defining areas for improvement

  • Development and implementation of cost saving projects

  • Planning and monitoring of expenditure of the section's budget

People management

  • Team leadership with the servant leadership mindset

  • Ensuring the optimal composition of the team necessary to achieve the set production objectives

  • Leading by example following the CI/TPM mindset

  • Allocation of resources necessary for optimum performance of tasks

  • Motivating the team as well as evaluation and development of employees

  • Monitoring the execution of tasks and indicators

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 5-6 years’ experience in Manufacturing

  • Working knowledge of improvement tools (benchmarking, productivity cycle, problem solving, etc.)

  • Ideally but not required an Msc. degree

  • Experience in managing a team and a multi-level structure

  • Expertise in manufacturing optimization using CI/TPM methodology

  • Communication, motivation and listening skills as well as idea leadership

  • Analytical and problem solving skills, strategic thinking abilities

  • Drives and sustains behavioral change through coaching and influencing

  • Fluent Polish and English language skills
