Objective

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow mid-sized accounts. The Mid-Market Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with medium-sized businesses, typically ranging from small local accounts to larger, national-level clients. This role requires up to 50% travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.

The role requires a combination of strategic selling, relationship-building, and account management skills to maximize revenue opportunities while ensuring the satisfaction and long-term success of each customer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who excels in communication and has a proven track record of success in managing client relationships, achieving and exceeding sales targets and identifying business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing mid-market clients to drive customer retention and growth.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, managing issues, and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess needs, offer solutions, and maintain strong, long-term partnerships.

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Understand market trends and customer needs to tailor solutions that meet clients' specific business objectives.

  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute strategies that target key accounts.

Revenue Growth:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by growing existing accounts.

  • Present ZWILLING product offerings that align with clients' strategic goals, driving both short- and long-term revenue.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and other terms to ensure profitability while providing value to clients.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Service, Marketing, Sales Operations and Product Development to ensure successful implementation of client solutions and alignment with their evolving needs.

  • Provide feedback from clients to help inform product improvements and customer service enhancements.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Track sales activities, manage a robust sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts to management.

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales progress within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably with mid-market or B2B clients.

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management

  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and the ability to execute a consultative sales process.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, and proficiency in using sales reporting tools.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a strong passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field

Base Salary Range: $80,000.00- $90,000.00 per year contingent upon experience.
