Position reports to Pleasanton, CA- Onsite position
About the Role:
Vagaro is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor to our engineering development team, you will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences through innovative and engaging web applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain user-centric front-end applications using React, NodeJS, HTML5, and CSS.
Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to translate designs into functional user interfaces.
Optimize application performance and user experience across different devices and browsers.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends.
Experience in SVG & D3 library and/or experience with ReactNative, NextJS & React Bootstrap frameworks would be a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
2+ years of experience in front-end development using React.
Strong proficiency in React, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with SQL programming and optimization.
C# and .NET development experience.
