Vagaro Salesforce Engineer in Pleasanton, California
Vagaro is seeking a talented Salesforce Engineer to join our growing team!
As a Salesforce Engineer, you'll leverage your deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that empower our sales, marketing, and business development teams. Position reports to Pleasanton, CA- Onsite position
How you will contribute as a Salesforce Engineer:
Design, build, test, document, and deploy high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
Utilize modern web technologies to design, develop, and integrate Salesforce for seamless data flow and user experiences.
Write clean and efficient Apex classes, triggers, Aura/LWC components, and unit tests to enhance the Salesforce ecosystem.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to understand, define, and document their needs, translating them into detailed specifications using structured SDLC methodologies.
Provide ongoing support for existing Salesforce implementations, making modifications to meet evolving business requirements.
Who we are searching for:
Possesses 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience, including expertise in Apex, Triggers, JavaScript, Aura, and LWC.
Has a strong understanding of Salesforce APIs and Web Services (REST, SOAP).
Boasts extensive experience building Lightning Aura Components (or Lightning Web Components).
Is proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C# preferred).
Demonstrates expertise in advanced reporting, formula fields, and change management.
Holds a comprehensive understanding of the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) with experience in various testing phases.
Utilizes tools like Visual Studio Code (or similar IDEs), Git, and CI/CD practices effectively.
Has a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues using Debug Logs, Flow Errors, and CPU/SOQL monitoring.
Writes and executes intermediate to advanced queries in relational databases (SOQL, SQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc.).
