We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Pleasant Hill, California. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), performing bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure it is up to date

• Prepare and post journal entries as needed

• Utilize Foundation Software for various accounting tasks

• Manage AIA Billing and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and management

• Demonstrated ability in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Solid experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in preparing and making Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Foundation Software

• Expertise in AIA Billing procedures
