Robert Half Talent Solutions is looking for a skilled Database Developer/Analyst for a long term contract opportunity for a client in the Martinez, CA area. This role will work mostly onsite.

The Data Architect will spearhead the creation and future management of a new database. This involves working closely with System Analysts and gaining a comprehensive understanding of relevant policies. Government experience would be ideal for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage a range of software tools to analyze, extract, match, reconfigure, transfer, and authenticate data from various system databases.

• Create reports and extracts, merging and normalizing relevant data from one or multiple databases.

• The role also involves generating reports for programs in the Government space, as well as extracting data from the clients case management system

• Assist with the analysis, configuration, and data transfer within the clients Information Server, identifying technical requirements and data modeling.

• Use SQL to program and arrange data elements from system in tables to lay the foundation for report development.

• Follow industry-standard best practices for system development life cycle, project management, data warehouse, and data validation in all data analysis and report creation.

Requirements

-7+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Database developer, Database Analyst or similar role.

-Advanced experience with SQL

-Experience in creating and accessing databases

-Familiarity with government or county-level database management would be advantageous

-The capability to learn and adapt to new systems

-A broad understanding of the system development life cycle, project management, and data warehouse principles.

-Familiarity with CALSAWS or CALWIN a huge plus
