Job Description:

Position Summary:

As a Concrete Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the production of precast concrete products. Your hands-on experience in machine operation, construction, and general labor will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes. You will work collaboratively with a skilled team to ensure that all products meet our rigorous standards.

Shift:

  • Day shift role roughly 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM with OT as needed

  • Start time varies throughout the year - depending on season

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concrete Production: Assist in the preparation, mixing, and pouring of concrete to create precast products, following specific project specifications and quality standards.

  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment used in the precast concrete process, including mixers, vibrating tables, and molds.

  • Formwork Setup: Prepare and assemble formwork for different precast products, ensuring accuracy and stability.

  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

  • General Labor: Perform physical labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials, as well as cleaning and maintaining work areas.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and address any challenges that arise during the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in construction or concrete work is preferred.

  • Proven experience in machine operation, general labor, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of concrete properties and mixing techniques is a plus.

  • Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.

  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to (specify weight)).

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and shift schedules as needed.
