Shift Time: 8:00am-4:30pm & 8:15am-4:45pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:The Advanced Practice Provider works under the general supervision of the Practice Supervisor and the medical supervision of the physician(s) to provide excellent medical care completing the duties and responsibilities of the position while complying with HIPAA and CVPH confidentiality and other organizational regulatory programs and policies. S(he) is responsible to provide health care services as licensed professionals working within their defined scope of practice. This position requires regular use of independent judgment.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Skills Required:1. Licensed (or eligibility for) NYS Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
2. 1 year clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the specialty area.
3. ACLS required.
4. DEA privileges.
5. CPR competency.As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of patients for which care is being provided.
