Basswood Resort is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. As a vital member of our hospitality staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' accommodations.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, cabins, and common areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
- Change linens and make beds in accordance with Basswood Resort standards.
- Replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed.
- Inspect rooms for damage or maintenance issues and report any concerns to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly utilized and stored.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
