Description We are in search of a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in the insurance industry, stationed in Plantation, Florida. This role revolves around the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, the maintenance of precise customer credit records, and the resolution of customer inquiries. Additionally, the role requires monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage cash applications and collections

• Conduct data entry tasks and document all relevant information

• Regularly perform account reconciliations

• Effectively handle payment postings

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tasks involving pivot tables and VLOOKUP

• Engage in B2B collections

• Monitor and manage manual processes as we transition towards conversion. Requirements • Proficiency in Cash Applications is essential for this role.

• Strong command over Microsoft Excel, including the use of Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions.

• Prior experience in B2B collections is highly desirable.

• Excellent data entry skills are required to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Candidates should have a strong background in account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus.

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
