Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Plant City, Florida
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (Hand and Power Tools Expertise)
Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components such as axles and brake systems with precision and according to stringent quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, verifying required parts and tools for assembly.
Report any defects in parts or equipment to supervisors for timely resolution.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and calibration equipment.
Collaborate with team members across assembly stations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance and service on tools and equipment.
Minimize waste by conserving resources and supplies during the assembly process.
Assemble mechanical components thoroughly, quickly, and in accordance with approved specifications.
Essential Skills:
Expertise in using hand tools and power tools (e.g., drills, impact wrenches, saws, and measuring instruments).
Ability to accurately read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience working in a mechanical assembly line or manufacturing setting .
Familiarity with assembly processes and maintaining high-quality standards.
Shift and Work Environment:
Non-climate-controlled facility.
Monday to Thursday work schedule, with the potential for half-days on Friday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
