Robert Half VP of Revenue Cycle in Plano, Texas

Description

We are looking to bring onboard an VP of Revenue Cycle based in Plano, Texas. The main function of this role is to oversee and manage the operations of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department, ensuring the efficient processing of patient insurance documentation, workload coding, billing, and data processing. This role also involves presenting RCM Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior executives.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the operations of the Revenue Cycle Management department

• Implementing the company's revenue recognition policy

• Overseeing the planning and directing of patient insurance documentation, workload coding, billing, and data processing

• Analyzing billing and claims for accuracy and completeness, and submitting claims to proper insurance entities

• Collaborating with denial teams to follow up on discrepancies

• Conducting audits of current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of billing operations

• Ensuring billing operations are in accordance with federal, state, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements

• Participating in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures

• Managing a large team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

• Utilizing extensive knowledge of the healthcare revenue-cycle environment and strong understanding of medical billing principles

• Implementing and monitoring productivity levels and quality-improvement strategies, while effectively communicating with administrators, physicians, and peers.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Accounting, or Business required

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Extensive knowledge of HealthCare Revenue Cycle

• Understanding of Revenue Cycle Processes

• Proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

• Experience in Collection Processes

• Proven ability to understand and use EMR - Electronic Medical Records effectively

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to devise strategies and implement them to improve revenue cycle processes

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare sector

• Ability to stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
