JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Plano, Texas
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting. Write secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance. Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications. Work within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation. Work to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity. Gather, analyze, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development. Participate in the development of secure, stable code and systems. Implement Data security and standards like data masking, encryption, decryption, RSA Keys, SSK, digital signatures; Production documentation support and maintenance; Work with Infrastructure teams and vendors for setting up new servers, updating firmware, creating load balancers, firewalls, implementing High-Availability, Disaster Recovery solutions; Work with external and internal consumers for onboarding, offboarding on to API Gateway.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Business Technology Analyst, or related occupation.
