JPMorgan Chase Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer (SASE Senior Engineer) in Plano, Texas

As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you exhibit both depth and breadth of knowledge regarding software, applications, and technical processes across multiple technical disciplines. You also have a specialization in a specific domain within infrastructure engineering to drive programs or initiatives consisting of multiple technologies and applications.

Job responsibilities:

  • Define design architecture vision, roadmap and setting design objectives that align with customer demand & also enterprise's business goals

  • Be accountable and responsible for productizing SASE/SSE features including but limited to SDWAN, SWG, ZTNA, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI (strong technical knowledge of VPN, IPSEC, GRE, Segmentation (application & network)

  • Possess in depth Knowledge of public, private and hybrid cloud architecture of at least one of the major Cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Act as Primary technical lead to drive & lead the for the ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the organization's operational framework.

  • Define and communicate architecture strategy & approach in clear, concise, and understandable terms to senior management and other stakeholders

  • Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives

  • Conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget

  • Provides input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team

  • Cultivates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience

  • Lead the design and development of comprehensive networking and security architectures/designs, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and technical requirements. Proficient in creating High Level and low level designs for large scale and complex SASE deployments

  • Lead SASE PoC initiatives including test planning & design, lab setup (equipment's/tools), test execution and results

  • Create detailed functional and non-functional feature requirements for RFP, technical collaboration with stakeholders/partners, Drive the RFP process, evaluating and selecting vendors based on their ability to meet the organization's technical and business needs

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure the designed solutions address both technical and business challenges.

  • Create comprehensive documentation of designed architectures and solutions, and ensure knowledge transfer to relevant teams for smooth implementation and operation.

  • Demonstrate hands on deep-dive technical knowledge and expertise in productizing SASE features including but limited to SDWAN, SWG, ZTNA, FWaaS, CASB, DLP and RBI, Vendors/OEMs

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of Engineering lead experience in SASE, Cloud/Multi-Cloud (networking & security) and experience designing & implementing high quality cloud enable products

  • Exposure to managing budgets and techno-commercials

  • Excellent communication skills, plus proven relationship building abilities

Base Pay/Salary

Jersey City, NJ $156,750.00 - $200,000.00 / year; Palo Alto, CA $156,750.00 - $200,000.00 / year
