As a National Purchasing Manager at Public Storage, you’ll enjoy a stable office-based environment with a collaborative team. What You’ll Get:

• A competitive Total Compensation Pay Range of $150,000 - $185,000.

• A tailored compensation package based on qualifications, skills, and experience that includes a combination of base, bonus and equity award.

Your Impact:

• Establish and maintain a national purchasing program to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

• Develop strategic plans to reduce costs and ensure timely sourcing of services and goods.

• Manage and issue RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs adhering to scope of work requirements.

• Act as a liaison between field operations and centralized purchasing to ensure cohesive strategies.

• Interact with vendors, manage large contracts and ensure accountability to SLAs.

• Develop and manage vendor scorecards, monitoring KPIs with specific metrics.

• Negotiate SLAs for new and existing contracts, ensuring optimal terms.

• Source building products, materials, and services for field operations.

• Utilize data to drive informed decisions and present to senior and executive leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant work experience.

• 7+ years of proven experience in purchasing, preferably in a managerial role within the Real Estate/Construction sector.

• Analytical mindset.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
