Our client in Plano, Texas is seeking a Material Handler II to join their team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations Department supporting Production and Inventory Control Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00/hr depending on experience

Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

What’s the Job?

• Manage inventory processes: Coordinate part orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and handle production and sales orders, including pulling, labeling, and shipping parts.

• Oversee receiving and shipping: Receive, inspect, and route shipments, resolve issues with vendors, and process receipts efficiently.

• Perform inventory control: Conduct cycle counts, resolve production release issues, and support annual inventory audits.

• Operate equipment and maintain safety: Safely handle parts with or without equipment, perform housekeeping tasks, and uphold safety standards.

• Collaborate and problem-solve: Work with diverse teams, assist in training, lead projects as needed, and recommend process improvements.

• Ensure compliance: Follow ISO standards, safety procedures, and company policies while adapting to changing business needs.

What’s Needed?

• Experience: 1-3 years in inventory management, production support, or material handling.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory software, basic Microsoft Office, and forklift operation (training provided).

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in inventory transactions, part identification, and order processing.

• Teamwork and Communication: Strong collaboration, positive attitude, and effective communication skills.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.

• Flexibility and Compliance: Willingness to work overtime, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing priorities.
