The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding product team is transforming our candidate and employee experience. We're looking for a Product Director, Head of Talent Acquisition Platform and Applications to lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. This role is accountable for the scale and performance of our core suite of applications that make up the Talent Acquisition ecosystem, including applicant tracking, interview scheduling, event and notification systems, candidate relationship management and skills assessments. In this role you are accountable for the API and integration strategies that underpin a unified ecosystem to support a connected customer experience. You are also skilled in process improvement, and adept at applying the right technology to re-invent processes without over engineering. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities knowledge of product development, to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. You are a collaborative, horizontal leader adept at influencing and negotiating to ensure the right priorities are delivered on time to drive the right business and customer outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and outcomes

  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving OKRs

  • Ruthless prioritization and continuous backlog grooming in a highly dynamic environment

  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation

  • Collaborates closely with product management, engineering, design, data and analytics and other teams to align on platform initiatives and drive coordinated efforts towards shared goals, advocating for customer-centric solutions

  • Establishes effective communication channels to keep partners and stakeholders informed of updates, new features and best practices to nurture collaboration

  • Attract, retain, coach, develop, inspire and motivate a team of high performing product managers of varying experience levels

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications

  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics

  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Experience leading change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and in writing

  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, SaaS technologies with the ability to effectively transpose technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience with agile operating models and design thinking

  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of how to build a hybrid platform strategy and execute on it

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms

  • Experience with customer journey optimization and end-to-end experiences

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of initiatives, derive actionable insights, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement

  • Preferred experience in launching internal products

  • Preferred experience supporting global products and requirements within a globally matrixed, heavily regulated organization
