Job Title: Equipment Technician
Job Description
Looking for an Equipment Technician with strong electrical and mechanical experience. The Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) will maintain and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic production line equipment. This is a 1st shift position, running from 7am to 3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime and some Saturdays required.
Hard Skills
Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Reading electrical and mechanical schematics
Troubleshooting using a digital voltmeter
Experience with both low voltage (0-24 VDC) and high voltage (120-480 VAC)
Pneumatic controls experience
Troubleshooting digital and analog inputs/outputs
Experience with CMMS (e.g., eMaintenance)
Maintenance troubleshooting
Electrical

Detail-oriented and organized

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Plano, Texas.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in a Class 1,000 cleanroom environment. The position requires the ability to sit or stand for 12 hours at a time and work around chemicals. Employees may be required to wear a cleanroom smock and proper safety equipment, including a hairnet, eye protection, face mask, and gloves (nitrile or vinyl). The environment is cleanroom semiconductor, electronic manufacturing, and climate-controlled.
