Hiring Electrician for busy manufacturing facility in Plano, TX

Job Description
The electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in the building.
Tasks include wiring, installation, circuit design, fixture placement, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
This role often involves working with complex three-phase power systems and collaborating with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
Install electrical wiring, circuits, lighting fixtures, power outlets, and other electrical components according to blueprints and specifications.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including testing circuit breakers, transformers, and generators to identify potential issues.
Diagnose and fix electrical faults, including malfunctioning wiring, faulty fixtures, and electrical equipment.
Update outdated electrical systems with new technology or to meet current safety standards.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to local building codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople like plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other personnel.
Maintain detailed records of work completed, including materials used and project details.
Requirements
High level apprentice (4th year and up) or Journeyman Texas license required
Proficiency in electrical wiring, conduit installation, and circuit design.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical issues.
Experience with installation and repair of electrical systems.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and electrical code compliance.
Ability to use hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with three-phase power systems.
Ability to collaborate with other tradespeople.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Work Environment
Work at a location in Plano. The schedule is from 6 am to 6 pm (Monday to Friday) or from 12 pm to 8:30 pm (Thursday to Monday).
You will be provided with shirts, and need to have safety shoes. A phone will also be provided while working.
