Our client is seeking a Big Data/Hadoop Solution Architect to join their team. As a Big Data/Hadoop Solution Architect , you will be part of the Cloud and Big Data Architecture Department , supporting the Analytics and Data Engineering Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills , excellent problem-solving abilities , and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization

Job Title: Big Data/Hadoop Solution Architect

Location: Plano TX - Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid 3 Days

Pay Range: Based on experience

What’s the Job?

1. Develop technical and user requirements, and design solutions architecture to meet business and end-user needs.

2. Specify hardware and software solutions stack and support the design and deployment of Big Data solutions.

3. Lead technical teams, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

4. Design and build IT solutions for Big Data/Analytics environments, with a focus on Hadoop and other Big Data frameworks.

5. Develop technical relationships with end-users, ISVs, OEMs, and platform architects.

What’s Needed?

1. Minimum of 8+ years in technical solutions, with 5+ years focused on Big Data/Analytics, including Hadoop and related frameworks.

2. Expertise across hardware, software, systems, and solution development, particularly in Big Data environments.

3. Experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Teradata), Hadoop, and industry-specific applications.

4. Proven ability to represent the company in industry forums and present technical solutions clearly to stakeholders.

5. Experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based solutions, particularly in distributed environments.
