The role of a tutor.

• Work in small group sessions with students during school. These sessions will be in-person.

• Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and teach district-provided curriculum that is tailored to each student’s need.

• Also assist with homework, projects, and other academic tasks.

• Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time.

• Evaluate and report student progress.

• Work in collaboration with classroom teachers and school administration, under the direct supervision of the Kelly® Education Tutoring Solutions Team.

Specific information about the Kelly® Education tutoring program in Plainville, CT.

• Kelly Education is partnering with Plainville Community School District to provide in-person tutoring sessions under the direction of the schools’ teachers to provide targeted intervention.

• Grade/subject: High school mathematics

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:20am - 2:10pm

• Compensation: $22hour, weekly pay, perks and benefits offered

Minimum requirements .

• Associate degree or currently enrolled in college or university

• 2 years of experience teaching middle/high school math

• Ability to navigate resources independently and be proactive with student needs
