The Position

Support the aligned processes within the People & Organization (P&O) organization. Collaborate closely with AD Operational Efficiency and other P&O teams to lead through process mapping for P&O. Streamlining operations and leveraging efficiencies for the way we work is key to the success of the People Operations team. Driving continuous improvement through automation, digitalization, and innovation in the learning experience. Lead the program planning & execution with key focus of the Employee Experience team program, NNI/P&O Onboarding and any other P&O function with sustained program needs are needed. Support the AD Operational Efficiency in building and maintaining the holistic map of the work. Assist with driving the need for measurement outcomes for the key initiatives defined by POLT. By doing this work this role will aid in improving transparency, capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration, while reducing complexity across the team.

Relationships

The Associate Manager Operational Efficiency reports to the Director, People Operations within the Strategy & People Operations team. The Associate Manager Operational Efficiency role directly collaborates with the following team members and teams: HR Systems & Solutions Lead, Operational Efficiency & Process Excellence Leader, HRBPs, Employee Experience P&O Admin team, NNI Comms team, P&O COEs. The Associate Manager Operational Efficiency may be asked to report to the P&O Leadership Team at times, LT within individual POLT areas and P&O One Meetings throughout the year.

Essential Functions

  • Implement the P&O Annual Plan & Strategy

  • Utilize the aligned business plan/priorities to support the development of the holistic map for P&O

  • Help build and maintain the holistic map for review monthly by POLT and POLT teams

  • Establish cadence for key milestones within the holistic map to support driving of the priorities across P&O

  • Support the mapping of all initiatives with interdependencies/overlap across P&O

  • Build program management project plan/execution of the program for aligned programs

  • Manage/lead budget process for aligned program management plan. Work with budget specialist to track SOWs and manage key suppliers for program execution

  • Be a collaborative partner to the communications and hr systems lead & analyst

  • Define the process for building sustainable programs year over year. Programs that repeat annually should be able to be managed with minimal input from the stakeholder

  • Driving the process for program execution for key Employee Experience programs

  • Process Standardization and Governance

  • Support the mapping of the end-to-end processes for P&O

  • Support the development of sustainable and scalable tools

  • Review and map current processes design to evaluate opportunities for scaling, streamlining, capitalizing on gained efficiencies and implementing innovative solutions that will facilitate and enable the operations of Best-in-Class P&O Organization

  • Align with the data/insights team on people data for all key programs within P&O

  • Help support the data management for new hires, headcount across P&O on weekly/monthly

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Understand the utilization of Global Business Services, building/maintaining these global processes

  • Work with IT to drive automation and digitalization efforts across the department. Look for opportunities to drive efficiency

  • Develop/implement relevant tools that will enable the sharing of resources and investment mapping for P&O

  • Improve Products or Services

  • Utilize knowledge of internal business process to enhance P&O programs & services

  • Implement innovative solutions to improve P&O operations and employee experience

  • Continuously evaluate and refine P&O processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive P&O program execution specific to Employee Experience

    Physical Requirements

    This is a home office-based role with limited travel estimated at 20%. No international travel will be required. There are no additional physical requirements specified for this position.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred

  • 4+ years ‘experience required; Relevant experience of 6+ years may be substituted for degree

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in mapping cyclical processes

  • Apply subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues

  • Understanding of core HR systems like SABA & Degreed and how they work together

  • Ability to Set direction and deliver results with significant impact within a wider operational area

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office solutions and learning systems

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and cross-functional team facilitation experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrates subject matter expertise in People & Organization Program Management planning & execution needs
