Position Overview This position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who excels at project management, systems thinking, and logistics and desires to apply these skills in a dynamic, diverse school environment. The position requires high emotional intelligence, keen organization, and the ability to communicate well with various school constituents. The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Head of School and works closely with the MHS Leadership Team as a \"chief of staff,\" ensuring close coordination and purposeful collaboration between all school leaders. The Executive Assistant also serves as the direct liaison to the Board of Trustees in support of strong governance. Above all, the role acts as a trusted thought partner to the Head of School, in support of the mission, vision, and community of MHS. Major Responsibilities - Provide support for all administrative functions of the Head\'s office, including but not limited to daily schedule, calendar, travel, budget, and professional memberships - Monitor, respond to and prioritize correspondence to/from the Head of School - Support the Leadership Team in advancing strategic priorities through collaboration - Act as liaison for the Board of Trustees - Chair the Logistics & Planning Committee and oversee all-school events - Serve as connector and communicator between all school constituents Required Qualifications - Bachelor\'s degree required, advanced degree preferred - At least 5 years of administrative experience; educational or non-profit setting preferred - Superior communication skills and demonstrated experience working with diverse constituencies - Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks - Keen analytical skills and ability to identify problems and propose innovative solutions - Integrity, confidentiality and utmost discretion - Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community - Commitment to the Miss Hall\'s School Mission and Core Values Research has shown that women, trans, non-binary, and BIPOC individuals often do not apply for jobs because they perceive their qualifications as falling short of the listed requirements, even when they may be sufficient.
