18 Degrees Court Appointed Advocate Supervisor in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Part-time (22.5 hours/week) - In this role you will work closely with Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers to on-board, train, support and supervise them as they work to advocate for the best interest of children and youth. - Reporting to the CASA Director and Volunteer Coordinator you will ensure best practices for CASAs and volunteers are upheld. - You will assist in the activities of the CASAs and volunteers to assure compliance with all the policies and standards of the organization and National CASA/GAL. - A strong understanding of foster care issues in MA and Berkshire County; current information and conditions relative to child abuse and neglect; and Berkshire Juvenile Court Procedures is helpful but not required. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Qualifications: Associate\'s degree or other relevant experience/education; Bachelor\'s Degree preferred. 2-3 years administrative experience including working with a client database, knowledge of foster care system preferred, volunteer experience preferred.
