Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Pittsburg, PA

This position is fully onsite.

The Supply Chain Analyst will collect, validate, organize, and study data to uncover insights that inform business strategy at PGH around supply, demand, capacity, and other KPIs. This position works directly with site leaders, co-workers, and corporate teams to deliver reports, data visualizations, exception reports, and informed conclusions. They will establish quality control methods to validate data and ensure accuracy.

This individual strives for continuous improvement, utilizing knowledge of statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and software.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports, dashboards, and other visualizations that support decision-making efforts

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and teams across the organization and support needs by creating customizable tabular or visual ad hoc reports

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with over 2 years of experience in data analytics within Supply Chain or Operations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for trend analysis and exception reporting

  • Exceptional data visualization, verbal communication, and written presentation skills

  • Proficiency in conducting analysis using statistical packages, including but not limited to Excel, SQL, and Power BI

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a disruptive mindset that drives continuous improvement

  • ·SAP knowledge a plus
