Omnicell Sr. Business Analyst - Strategy & Portfolio Management in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

As part of the Product Operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing the product and services portfolio as a whole, including combined performance across different lines of business and new growth opportunities. You will support new/innovative product ideation and enhancements for prioritization, and value proposition that are customer-centric and tied together to support the enterprise strategy.

Along with the Sr. Director, you will be accountable for the management of portfolio strategy process including strategic vision, integrated roadmap planning, market and financial/profitability analyses for the overall product and services portfolio. This will result in periodic report outs to management teams for support of decision-making.

This role is a strategic problem solver, critical in bridging the gaps between enterprise strategy, product strategy, long range plan, investment needs, and business processes (implemented through Product Lifecycle Process). This individual should be skilled at leading by example in the delivery of high impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross functional teams including but not limited to Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales

  • Analyze roadmaps against enterprise strategy, investments against predetermined strategic priorities to develop portfolio scenarios

  • Provide consultative services to senior leaders and management including financial reviews, business case development, and strategic project identification.

  • Design and create executive level reports and key supporting artifacts (board presentations, data analysis, product delivery roadmaps, etc.).

  • Develops detailed business analyses, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.

  • Supports the identification and evaluation of the organization's strategic risk areas through detailed business analyses, problem/opportunity identification and solutions.

  • Break down complex problems into discrete projects.

  • Analyze product and service financial performance to help determine ROI of investments

  • Ability to think strategically and participate actively in decision making, including problem formulation, meeting facilitation, model development, and presentations

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, and good communication skills (both oral and written)

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • High proficiency with MS Excel, and the potential to use advanced decision support analytical tools (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, optimization).

  • High proficiency at designing and creating simple, impactful, and aligned presentation content for executive level audiences via Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Detail orientation and strong quantitative skills

  • Proven ability to evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations.

  • High degree of independent work and personal initiative; demonstrated as a self-starter.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, situations, and assignments across the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or priorities.

  • Familiarity with Tableau is helpful

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. Preferred BS or BA in decision sciences, management science, business, economics or quantitative field.

  • Minimum of 2+ years management consulting, banking, PE/VC, or corporate development function doing business case development

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to work with multiple teams.

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college

  • Experience in a health care services (technology, services, or distribution) environment.

Work Conditions:

  • This position will be hybrid out of an office in either Milpitas, Tampa Bay, Austin, DFW or Pittsburgh

  • Up to 15% travel

Base Compensation: $58210.60 to $83158.00

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset.
