UPMC Speech Language Pathologist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Purpose:
Provides a quality Speech Language Pathology program to clients.
Responsibilities:
Achieves and maintains productivity standards.
Prepares necessary time records.
Maintains compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Pursues professional growth and development.
Performs job responsibilities in line with the mission.
Maintains accurate progress notes and professional records.
Adheres to organizational policies, including HIPAA and Corporate Compliance.
Provides appropriate speech pathology treatments.
Prepares diagnostic and evaluative reports.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
MS, MEd or MA in Speech-Language Pathology.
Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing his or her Clinical Fellowship year. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Speech Pathologists license required for state in which employee provides services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
