Description

Unit Specific Performance Objectives

  • Completes educational assessments within specified time period and communicates results appropriately. 3. Adheres to treatment plans and participates in treatment team meetings as requested. 5. Plans, implements, and monitors educational programs, and makes recommendations regarding appropriate improvements.

    1. Completes due process requirements (CER - Comprehensive Educational Reports, IEP - individual educational plans, NORA – Notice of Recommended Assignment, Invitation and Procedural Safeguards) for enrolled students.
    1. Supervises classroom and maintains a positive environment for learning.
    1. Reassess educational needs and educational strategies as needed and/or directed.
  • Identifies the potential for crisis situations, intervenes as necessary, and assumes the lead in resolving conflicts. 9. Engages in de-escalation techniques to avoid power struggles and incidents. 11. Develops or assists with the development of educational aftercare plans. 13. Act as liaison with student's home school district - gathers pertinent educational documents and facilitates transition. 15. Implements individual and group behavior modification and incentive strategies. 17. Problem solves and plans strategies with Teacher's Aides to support student development. 19. Possesses knowledge of age specific growth and development. 21. Performs other duties as requested.

    1. Maintains competence in identified universal, core and critical competencies.
    1. Participates in own performance process.
    1. Provides feedback and training to Teacher's Aides.
    1. Identifies group and individual goals and objectives and monitors/documents progress.
    1. Develops or assists with the development of school curricula.
