Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA) to be responsible for translating data requirements into applications that employ appropriate data models and ETL solutions; analyzing, defining, developing, and maintaining complex database structures and ETL architectures and applications; developing and implementing data validation, auditing, reconciliation, testing methodologies, and integration processes; coordinating with business/data analysts on data cleansing and data profiling activities to improve quality of data; working closely with DBA Team and Operations to establish ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback framework, including scheduling, error management, restart-ability, email notifications, and information publishing; developing and maintaining accurate system documentation including information about attributes, lineage, and business rules; helping set and make required changes to standards and complies with Bank and data governance policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations, especially regarding the security of financial data; working with IT groups to implement a disaster recovery and business continuance solutions for ETL processes, including the installation, configuration, and testing of software; conversant with and cognizant of the future direction of systems, how that direction impacts the Bank, and how future and current systems can be exploited for the benefit of the Bank; making recommendations on buy vs. build decisions; mentoring team members and acting as a technical resource on data integration and ETL technologies; providing production support for the banks integrated batch processing; providing periodic reports on activities, accomplishments, issues and their solutions, as well as assisting in forecasts of future utilization, tools, and resource requirements; ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations; knowledgeable in Data Warehousing and Change Data Capture lifecycles and methodologies. Must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Must have one (1) year of previous work experience in the position offered or related. Must know (through academic training or work experience) transform data from source to target files in Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer and Mapping Designer in Informatica Designer; performance tuning of ETL and other processes to optimize session performance; data modeling and data integration; and Informatica Workflow Manager and Tableau.
