Title: Senior Claims Specialist

Responsibilities: Manage claim process, execute Client Service Plans, accurate record keeping and data entry, maintain insurance and claims knowledge

POSITION DETAILS
Expect your typical day as a Senior Claims Specialist to be focused on the following initiatives:
Claims Management: Develop and execute Client Service Plans, Present client claim reviews, Support and manage claim process to an assigned book of business (includes claim reporting, carrier correspondence, data collection, and internal documentation)
Communication & Record Keeping: Manage daily client correspondences and data entry in agency management system
Continuing education: Expand and maintain working knowledge of Claims process and regulatory compliance by attending meetings, education sessions, research, and formal continuing education programs

Bachelor's degree or insurance designation preferred
5+ years of claims processing experience required
CIA, CPCU, ARM, etc. preferred but not required
Insurance background is preferred but not required
Strong verbal communication and listening skills
Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Proficient virtual communication skills, preferably Zoom
