Position Purpose:
The Residential Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Community Living Arrangement in our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services , including supervising staff, managing a relief pool (if applicable), and ensuring compliance with regulations and Person-Centered Planning (PSP) standards. This role involves hiring, coaching, and evaluating staff, maintaining a safe environment, and working closely with administrative and scheduling teams. The Supervisor will also be on-call periodically and handle incident documentation.
What You Will Do:
Hire staff according to Organization Policies/Practices
Ensure staff is trained on the tools to do their job
Plan and conduct staff group meetings at least once a month
Responsible for providing the assessment for the development of ISP, updates and all revisions as well as participating in the development of the ISP, annual updates, and all revisions
Organize an individual’s admission, discharge, and transfer in avatar.
Supervise 10-30 full time direct support professionals
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Human Services + 1 year Supervisor/Lead experience working directly with persons with Intellectual Disabilities OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services + 3 years (1 as a Supervisor/Lead) experience directly working with persons with Intellectual Disabilities
Valid Driver License and ability to drive an organization vehicle
Act 33/34/73 Clearances
Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Physical/TB
Must successfully pass Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of employment
