Basic biochemistry, biophysics, microbiology skills are required.
Specific duties:
- Grow cell/bacteria cultures in LB or M9 media for biophysical and structural characterizations.
- Collect data, analyze results, and perform further analysis of the purified proteins.
- Use MS office software, and utilize specialized programs for data analysis.
Job Summary
Performs laboratory testing and some analysis on multiple types of specimen samples. Operates and properly sterilizes equipment and maintains inventory and assists with ordering.
