University of Pittsburgh Research Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF EPIDEMIOLOGY
The Department of Epidemiology, School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the level of Research Assistant Professor. This position is available immediately and requires an advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or statistics with experience in cardiovascular disease epidemiology. Expertise in the area of statistical computing is needed, and knowledge about the epidemiology of reproductive health, pregnancy, menopause, women's health, or aging is helpful. The successful candidate will be part of a research group involved in the etiology of cardiovascular disease, physical activity epidemiology, and lifestyle interventions. The individual would also be expected to support the teaching program within the Department, including mentoring PhD and Masters students. This position is outside of the tenure stream and is supported by Institutional funds. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
