A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Reimbursement Specialist, Payment Poster,

This individual is responsible for posting and balancing payment, adjustment, and insurance remittance transactions received on laboratory insurance claims. Additionally, this position involves communicating with patients and clinician offices regarding outstanding balances, generating patient statements, and issuing client invoices. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in receipt posting and collections to meet or exceed productivity goals. This position will primarily focus on posting electronic payments, payments received via lockbox (checks), and communicating outstanding balances with patients and clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience collaborating with patients, providers, and insurance plans throughout the revenue cycle.
• Typing speed of 30 or more words per minute, with 90% or greater accuracy.
• One year minimum experience in a Reimbursement Specialist role with one company.
• Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• <5% as needed for training and meetings.

SCHEDULE

• 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.
