The Opportunity:

As the Program Counselor for Senior Workers Jobs Program, you would Identify and engage new host agencies as participant training sites. Recruit, interview, and conduct initial orientation of applicant. Complete timely participant assessments, case management notes and Individual Employment Plans (IEP). Enter data into the Department of Labor Database System (SPARQ).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree AND 1 year of experience.

Experience: Pervious experience in counseling, case management, and working with economically disadvantaged workers/older adults required. Strong computer skills, data entry, data management, supervisory experience highly preferred.

Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:

• Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
• Candidates must have proof of full COVID 19 vaccination status OR be willing to obtain the COVID vaccine OR provide an applicable medical/religious exemption prior to the first day of employment.
