DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Professional Conduct Investigator 1, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting investigations pertaining to allegations of policy violations within the professional and occupational licensing boards and commissions under the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. You will work closely with supervisors and prosecuting attorneys to ensure all necessary and factual information is obtained.
Excellent communication skills are imperative, as you may need to provide testimony during court proceedings in addition to facilitating in-person interviews and compiling thorough, accurate, and timely reports. Travel throughout various sites within a geographic region is a requirement for this position.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector; or Five years of investigative experience; or One year of investigative experience and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that included one year of investigative experience.
Other Requirements: This particular position also requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
