Overall Summary

The individual will work in both clinical and basic science within our UPMC Foot and Ankle Service Line and Fellowship, Foot and Ankle Injury Research [F.A.I.R] group, and BMRC core research group, regarding clinical trials and research-related patient evaluations will be required. The individual will work with our research engineer, research fellows, and students to complete the proposed study. An abstract and research manuscript will be required to document the research efforts.

Duties or Responsibilities

Assist in identifying potential research study participants in the clinic.

Contribute to data processing, data analysis, and interpretation of results.

Write abstracts and manuscripts based on the results.

The position will also work with our collaborators during the research project to ensure that clinically relevant analyses are performed.

Expectations or Standards

Experience with analyzing biomedical data.

Interact actively with co-workers in the lab.

Attend weekly lab meetings.

Present research findings at lab meetings.

Qualifications (i.e., degree requirements)

MD in a biomedical field.
