Post-Doctoral Associate
The Department of Radiologys Neuroimaging Lab under the leadership of Alberto Vazquez, PhD is looking for independent, highly motivated post-doctoral fellows to investigate the function and dysfunction of neuro-vascular and/or neuro-metabolic coupling mechanisms using optical or MRI methods. Candidates should have a background on imaging optical or MRI, electrophysiology and general in vivo experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Working on projects that will advance the field of neuroimaging in the areas of vascular contributions to brain activity and brain health by developing innovative approaches that enable us to understand the mechanism by which this occurs.
-Participating and conducting experiments, summarizing and analyzing acquired data from previous and new experiments, presenting your findings in laboratory meetings, and writing scientific reports that document your work.
Qualifications: Candidates should hold a PhD in BioEngineering or related field
