Post Doctoral Associate Biological Sciences - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (24008794)
Applications are being accepted for a post-doctoral associate with a Ph.D. in animal behavior and disease ecology to conduct scholarly research on the behavioral interactions driving epidemic dynamics. The successful applicant will have experience in working with guppies and their gyrodactylid parasites, machine learning animal tracking software, and excellent data management skills. They must also work exceptionally well as part of a team. The applicant should have demonstrated expertise in disease ecology and its interactions with animal behavior through a strong publication record in these fields. The candidate will also be expected to be a full participant in the intellectual activities of the laboratory, including group meetings, preparation of grants and fellowship applications, manuscript review, journal clubs, and mentoring students in the laboratory.
